Have you ever thought about translating a film, a series or a documentary from Arabic into Italian, or vice versa? The Arabic Cultural Institute invites you to discover how subtitling really works.
Dr. Marianna Massa will lead an intensive workshop with hands-on exercises, in which you will learn to translate, adapt and synchronize subtitles for audiovisual content, tackling the real challenges of the craft: limited space, reading speed, the rhythm of dialogue.
The course is designed for students of Arabic at intermediate and advanced levels who want to put their language skills to the test in a professional setting. Participants are required to bring their own laptop for the workshop.
